得克萨斯，休斯顿（2025年5月15日）--全球领先的电子元件和半导体分销商Smith即日宣布, 推出全新的独家外观检测解决方案 Argus™。Argus™运用人工智能技术分析元件表面，进一步优化了公司的质量检测流程。Argus™ 设备现已在 Smith 休斯顿、香港、阿姆斯特丹和新加坡的运营中心投入使用。
Argus™得名于希腊神话中百眼巨人"阿耳戈斯·潘诺普忒斯"（Argus Panoptes）。该设备可捕捉并存储卷盘上每个元件表面的高清图像，随后通过内部开发的AI软件对图像进行分析，精准识别异常特征，并自动标记需进一步检测的部件。

由于每个卷盘最多可装载10,000个元件，过去质检员只能进行抽样检测，既费力又费时。现在，Argus™不仅能检测整个卷盘，而且速度极快，每分钟可拍摄180个元件的高清图像。
